An at-risk teen girl writes: Once upon a time there was an invisible girl. She was free from harm, pain, scent and sight. She loved that place because no one could harm her or judge her. She had a gift to not be seen, heard, and even thought of. Outsiders only portray her doing things and being someone she is not. Her gift to be invisible lets her enjoy peacefulness.

This charming picture was drawn by Luis, one of the children I worked with in the 21st Century after-school program from September 2005 to February 2006. A Fair Damsel shows off her lovely headwear at Victor Intermediate School

Students at North Park Middle School try on armor. It's hard to tell that the child on the right is a girl. Heraldry such as the banner behind them, helped identify the knight when his armor was in place. I am the Cistercian nun on the far left. Teachers dress for their Medieval day which sets a good example for the students. The king, the monk, the jester and the plague victim are teachers from North Park Middle School in Lockport NY.
